1. Before installing the rotary joint, remove all hard particles and other contaminants from the pipes, rollers, and inside the rotary joint. During installation, to prevent damage to the bearings caused by tightening torque, first use a transition joint or flange to connect the rotary joint and metal hose. During installation, clamp the end of the rotary joint with a vise and do not clamp the housing to prevent deformation.
2. The installation of the inner pipe connects the inner pipe to the rotary joint. The installed inner tube is in a horizontal position inside the equipment roller, aligned with the centerline of the roller without deviation. This can prevent excessive wear and breakage of the inner tube, as well as vibration during rotation. After installation, the rotating inner tube should protrude 3-5mm from the shell.
3. The installation of the hollow shaft connects the hollow shaft to the equipment shaft neck. When connecting, the hollow shaft should be concentric with the shaft neck as much as possible. If the rotary joint is connected to the equipment shaft neck flange using a half ring quick change flange, please pre saw the tapered half ring along the center with a saw width of 2-3 millimeters and remove burrs.
4. Installation of metal hoses: Metal hoses must be used for the connection of rotary joints and fixed pipelines. Metal hoses should have sufficient length. After installation, the metal hose should be in a relaxed state without applying external force to the rotating joint.
Attention: After installation, the metal hose should not be eccentric, nor should it be under pressure or tension, otherwise it will cause the rotating joint to deviate from the centerline of the roller shaft neck, affecting the sealing effect, leading to sealing failure and leakage, and affecting the service life of the ball bearing of the rotating joint.
